| Description: | A favorite sculptures in the Vatican city. It shows the Trojan priest Laocoon and his two sons being attack by sea serpents sent by Poseidon, the ancient Greek god of the sea. The priest had urged the Trojans to be cautious of the Greek gift, a massive wooden horse, left on the beach in the wake of their feigned withdrawal. |
